BAH during separation?
When a service member is stationed OCONUS for their first tour and their family gets an ERD (voluntary) back to the US, do they receive BAH and if so, is it for where the family is living or what?

I'm pretty sure you'd get the BAH rate of where the family lives.
If I am wrong someone please correct me

ERD would mean that they are sent to the next duty station, correct? The BAH in that case, regardless of where the family chooses to live, will be the BAH for that duty station.
I know that if DH had gone to Korea unaccompanied that I had the choice of staying where I was at his previous duty station or moving (military's dime) to his next duty station.

On a ERD you either move to your home of record or your choice but I'm pretty sure its home of record

I've never heard of people getting BAH for a voluntary ERD unless it's forced by the military. But looking at the info it says if its stateside they get BAH-1...
