How long does it take - Military Benefits

to get the bah when you move? we've been here for 2 months now. we are still getting the bah amount that we got in corpus and it is killing us. we just got paid last night and with rent and what's due at the first of the month which is only like 2 or 3 other bills, we are down to less than 100 left for 2 weeks. i took money out of our savings to put in our account to help us get by because we need groceries.

dh is pissed because he turned in the paperwork or whatever he had to do on time and right, but still nothing. i just wasn't sure how long it took..

yeah he said he's going to go down there. it's just so frustrating..

All he can do is go to finance and keep on them. There was a mix up somewhere.

i just talked to him and he went down there. they told him we should have it by the middle of the month. but they said it should be here at the beginning of this month last time he went down there to talk to them.

On his LES, what's the zip showing? The good thing is when you do get it, it will be back payed to the day y'all arrived to VA.

It should not be taking that long as long as there are no human errors.

I have a feeling people are losing paperwork or whatnot and info is not getting entered in the computer.

It should not take this long at all. Granted ours was in reverse, the BAH is less here in TN than where we were, but he reported down here Sept 14th and his Sept EOM LES reflected the smaller amount, so they picked up the change right on time. I am sorry they are doing this but trust that it will be back paid to you.
