First Pay day and USAA
Dh left for boot camp sept 14th/15th (military deers paper says effective the 15th) and we have direct deposit through USAA and since pay day is tomorrow...I was wondering what time the pay normally shows up? Doesn't USAA pay a day early..so like today?
I know its a long shot that he'll get paid tomorrow...probably more likely on the 15th but hey...just curious. If pay the day before doesn't come in till like lets say, 9pm...i might just have to wait a couple more hours...but if not then I guess i'll just wait it out till next time! So thanks! p.s. if you're confused as to what the question was (its sorta hidded through all my babbling) its: If USAA pays a day early, what time does the pay post in the account?

I think that if he was getting paid this pay day, it would have been in there this morning. We have USAA too and ours is always in first thing in the morning, the day before pay day.

i checked my usaa today (we just switched banks) and we got paid today... i checked around 8pm or so it wasnt there this morning

Being that he just left for Boot Camp it will be a couple of pays before you get paid. It was about 3 cycles before we got paid when my husband re-enlisted. But once the first deposit is done, yes USAA has the funds (pending but available) a day before payday.

He probably won't get paid this cycle. DH left for basic Jan 8th and he didn't even get paid till Feb 6th. When he got that check it was for Jan 8- Jan 31st. He didn't get paid his first check on a normal cycle, his 2nd check came on Feb 15th and from then on it was normal. I wouldn't expect anything till the 15th or the week after if I were you. I suspect your DH will have a nice check coming though on the 15th.
