Tricare Fee Waiver?? - Military Benefits

I am on Tricare Standard because DH and I live a hour from Ft. Bragg...

Is there such thing as a fee waiver since we live so far from the base?

I'm just trying to figure all of this stuff out. Is standard really my only option? Unless I want to drive all the way over there for any appointment I have...

Anyone?

You can get prime and they will assign you a civilian doctor since you live out of the area.

You want Prime Remote, I'd call Tricare and talk about all your options.

TRICARE Prime Remote (TPR) is a program for active duty service members and their family members when the sponsor lives and works over 50 miles or one hour drive from a Military Treatment Facility (MTF) and the family member lives with the sponsor.

Prime or Prime Remote. They will assign someone to you OR you can go to tricareline.com and pick your own from their database. I always pick one myself. Good luck!
