MTF Question - Military Benefits

We just PCSed to our first duty station a couple of months ago, and this is my first time being assigned to a PCM at a MTF. I was wondering if I'm suppose to schedule a new patient appointment, like with civilian doctors. TIA!

You dont necessarily have to...When you need to go to the dr just call the appt line and schedule an appt. Alot of times at MTF's you dont always get to see your Primary care provider anyway .

Every MTF is different. We had to here at Elmendorf for ds. For mine, they just kinda did it with my first regular appointment that I scheduled.
