So if I am sticking with Tricare standard do I have to do anything else once I am enrolled in DEERS? This is all very overwhelming. sorry

So for the ladies who stuck with Standard about how much did you pay for your pregnancy? I know it will be different for everyone I was just curious.

Pregnancy is 100%, except for some labs and inpatient in the hospital runs about $14 a day. It's a global package. Just when you see your OB or midwife for the first time, make sure they know to bill it as a global fee and code it as pregnancy.

I went off Prime to Standard so I could have a midwife at a civilian hospital, and the most I've paid is $70 and that's because that was my cost-share % because of the way my OB (who I saw at first) didn't bill my visit as pregnancy related, but rather a "menstral disorder", so it was billed (labs too) as being a regular non-pregnancy visit.

Otherwise, I'm 32w and haven't paid anything since.

I am too since there is no base right nearby me. I have standard also. I havent paid a dime for my pregnancy since it is under the global maternity care or something like that.

No..You don't have to do anything else..just make sure that your DH enrolled you int he dental program b/c my DH didn't and I had to pay out of pocket when I went...I had no clue that he never enrolled us...I thought it was just like deers...once we were in the system but we had to call and enroll ourselves.
