    Confused Retirement/life insurance for dependents..

    I am not sure if this was already posted or not..sorry if it is...


    But i was wondering if there was a program or something that I could start a retirement plan for myself...or a life insurance plan..i just dont know where to start..and i wanna start planning for our future..

    we have life insurance thru USAA & a retirement through our bank-HTH

    I have both a life insurance policy and ROTH IRA thru USAA, both in my name only. (though DH is the beneficiary)

    A ROTH IRA- you can also do long term CD's Money market accounts ect..

    we eash have a ROTH IRA we invest into along with the TSP.

    We've done most of our stuff with USAA and it's all in CDs or Money Markets. He has his TSP to supplement his Navy retirement when it comes time for him to retire retire.
