I was told there are places in San Diego I could go get eye exams without having to pay upfront using tricare! Can all you SD ladies give me your suggestions

The optometrist in the NEX at North Island is good and does the exams (for eyeglasses) under Tricare. Contact prescriptions/eye exams are extra (like $100 bucks!) I can't remember his name, but if you call the main NEX line, they'll transfer you.

It's just for eye glasses for my daughter, she brought home her exam report from school and it says she needs glasses.

That Dr. should be fine. I started taking my son to him when he was 6 years old and it went great.
