who is signed up with tricare dental program?
    likes? dislikes?

we are looking at signing up and wondering if its good. it will be me and dd on the plan. anyone have any ideas about how much it will run for us.

dd will need her first check up at the end of the year and i need to remove my remaining wisdom teeth before they cause more problems... any idea about how much that will run will help out.

When we've used the TriCare dental program (Delta Dental at the time), we ended up only saving about 30% of the total bill because of the limitations. They've since switched to united Concordia and we don't really use it, we use the dental coverage through our jobs (we're retired)/

I don't mind it at all.. we see a great group of dentists up in Tierrasanta that cater to military dependents. That truly makes all the difference... If you want their info, let me know.

Well, I'm what I am and I'm what I'm not
and I'm sure happy with what Iíve got
I live to love and laugh alot
    and thatís all I need

I have it but I've only used it once. I got all 4 wisdom teeth pulled with sedation and my out of pocket was $400. I have no idea if that's good though because before Tricare I was on my parents insurance.

I think it's a 60/40 plan. It's been awhile since we used it since we are overseas and can use base facilities. I believe I paid roughly 40% of the cost.

    Yep I like it...

I got to chose my dentist in the area. I had no problem finding one who took the insurance.
