    Those who have separated

I have a few quick questions for you...

    1. what month did it state on your LES that the allowances and benefits would stop on the ETS date?

    2. did any of you have errors that had to be fixed regarding dates?

    A little background info...

As of November Dh's LES was normal. I checked it this month and in the fine print on the bottom of the LES it stated that his allowances and benefits would stop on 090213. DH has orders until 2010.. he signed for an extra year when he did his paperwork so he has 5 years instead of 4. He's about to take a year long deployment so HOW could his LES say this when he still has another year of AD service? I looked back on the previous LES and December was the first month that it stated the allowances would stop. DH knows about it, though he'll be on a plane to Ventura tonight for his inprocessing for his deployment. He's going to try to take care of things there. he's got 2 1/2 weeks to get it done though before the ETS on his LES and I think you have to have the stuff in by the 18th of the month previous. We can't afford to not get a paycheck....

Your LES doesn't know that an extension is going to kick in. Your pay should be perfectly fine.

It is a common blurb on the LES for those who are close to an EAOS without reenlisting or extending yet.

The thing to watch out for on extensions is to watch your allotments. Sometimes they get cancelled on accident.

k! I'll keep an eye out for those. We only have one set up... the rest are auto bill pay through the companies and the bank!
