I need all four of my wisdom teeth out. Does anyone know how much Concordia will pay for it? I've got to be put under too.

For oral surgery, if your DH is E-1 to E-4 you pay 30%, all other pay grades pay 40% share.
General anesthetic will run 40% and 50% respectively and IV anesthesia is 50% across the board.
The actual dollar amount can vary a lot from one provider to the next based on what they actually charge.
I had local anesthesia (novicaine) with 4 teeth for simple extraction (no impaction, all erupted) and paid just under $300 as best as I can remember (I think it was $277 )

Mine was a cake walk. Literally, having my wisdom teeth out was no different than any other tooth extraction. I could have safely driven myself home from the appointment, only took the meds as a precaution for the first 24 hours (quit because I don't like the way they make me feel and I wasn't in any pain so why take them), had no swelling, etc. I was eating "real" food (granted, very carefully) the next day.
DH, on the other hand, had a much different experience. I think a lot of it has to do with the anesthesia used because general anesthesia is much harder on your system than local. You not only have to recover from the procedure but from the meds - double whammy. He was miserable for the first three days and not really comfortable until the end of the first week (then again, he is a bit of a drama queen - I blame his mother, lol)
