    MY QUESTION IS CAN YOU GO ANYWHERE LIKE WALMART TO GET YOUR MEDS AND BE OK WITH TRICARE AND OTHER THING IS YOUR ID CARD YOUR PRESCRIB CARD TOO AND BY WAY THE I AM ON STANDARD UNTIL JUNE 1....

    Yeah, as long as they take Tricare...you'll have to pay for it whereas if you go on post you don't have to pay. I think its $3 for generic and $9 for others...I think thats right.

    As long as they accept Tricare then yes ( wal-mart does accept tricare) You will have to pay a copay though.

    yep as long as they take tricare i went to cvs and my $150 perscription was $9

    If you have a written script you can go to Walmart/Walgreen's ect and all you have to do is pay the co-pay as long as the script is covered by tricare. My co-pays are $3 for generic or $9 for non-generic

    Yes, as long as they take TriCare you can go anywhere. The RX will be $3, $6 or $9 dollars, where as going to base it'd be completely free. For me, the Hospital here is like 30 minutes or so away, with the price of gas these days, I'd spend more on gas just to get there and back then I would spend getting my RXs from a civi pharmacy.

    oh yeah i forgot your scrip has to be covered or else it is non-formulary and you pay 22 no matter what.
