It may depend on what bank you're a member with....

We bank with USAA and Navy Fed. Surprisingly enough, we got a BETTER rate using the dealer's ban, Bank of America, and getting our loan through the dealer...

Really?! I thought it was always more when you go through the dealer. I looked at our bank (Navy Fed) and also US Bank along with some other banks. Thanks for the info!

Same with us, our loan rate is only 4.6% thru Bank of America going thru the dealer.

Yep! You just have to bring your research to the table, when buying a vehicle. We did our fair share of researching on vehicle prices and loan rates before speaking with a salesperson.

My rate thru Navy federal is 5% APR. It all varies. Check out your bank, the dealer etc

We ended up getting the best deal with Pentagon Federal Credit Union........at the time no one else would match them and we bank with both Navy Fed and USAA.
