    quick uniform questions

    Advertisements
John has removed all his pants from their shirts. He has reserve duty this weekend and he will have to wear his whites. I'm not sure which whites so I'm washing both working and dress. I have 3 different types of white pants which total 6 pairs. 2 pairs flare out on the bottoms and feel like the dress white tops. These I believe are the dress white pants, correct? 3 pairs feel like the utility pants but they are white and straight legged. Do these go with the thin working white shirts? The last pair feels like the dress pants but they are straight legged. Would these pants go with a working white shirt that feels like the dress white shirt but its a working white shirt?

the flared white ones are the dress pants.. white straight legged "utility" type are working white pants.. the last ones you described are the newer type, for the life of me I can't remember what they're called.. but the shirts feel the same way they do.

ETA: the newer whites are CNT's..

No problem! The easiest way to remember is that ANYTHING flared or bell bottomed, is dress.. does with the jumper tops.

Since we've been married G's only had one set of each uniform, so it was kind of easy to figure out..

Why in all heck did John separate them??

is the crease in or out. that is how i tell the difference. Dress whites the crease folds in ( since they fold them inside out) and the working whites have a regular crease.

    I will miss you SOS...
Please be wary of what you post remember OPSEC is not just another acronym.

I couldn't tell ya. I've always hung the shirts and the pants that go with them on the same hanger. I guess he decided to separate them after we moved here and all his stuff was still packed from deployment. I told him I refused to do it for him. It sat for a few months before he finally did it. Hes got so many uniforms.
