    Advertisements
Ok girls my DH and I cant figure this out. We JUST got married and are trying to figure out how this whole thing goes. Ok ready for things to get a little confusing before I ask the question?? Here we go!!!

We got married November 13th. On the first bah and bas kicked in but only from the 13th to the first...(so the back month we recieve on the 1st) We did not recieve this months(decembers) bah or bas yet. When does it usually come in and did anyone else get married in the middle of the month. Will we recieve more bah and bas on the 15th to make up for this month?? ANYONE HELP!!!

your bah and bas will be split with your pay. so if his base pay is 1300, bah is say 600, and bas is 250 they add it up and then split it in half ( after taxes are taken out) so each payday will be relatively the same.

    I will miss you SOS...
Please be wary of what you post remember OPSEC is not just another acronym.

    BAH BAS Help

I am a military member specializing in pay (A navy DK)

Your husbands BAH and BAS for the month of december will be paid in two halfs, half on december 15th the other half on january 1rst.(depending on how the dates fall it moves around.) Your BAH and BAS are not taxable so you get that whole amout. Always remember the military pays you after the time has passed. so your pay on the 15th is for the 1rst to the 15th and on the 1st is for 16-30.
