    Pay Question (-8

    Advertisements
Well we got payed today..always good news right!
Except last pay check we got around $2,000 and this one we only got $1,600. DH is Deployed and we were both told we would be getting around $2,000 each pay check. I am assuming we only get the extra benifits of th edeployment in one pay check...is this correct?
I would check his LES statement online but neither one of us can remember is access info and he no longer has the email the account was set up through which leads me to my next question. Is there a way to get that info again? I cant see anything on the site
    Thank You

he can always go to his PSD ( or the pay people i am not sure what the army calls it) to get a copy of his LES and see if they can't reset his info for him. Other than that you can call DFAS and see if they can help you. let me dig it up for you.

    I will miss you SOS...
Please be wary of what you post remember OPSEC is not just another acronym.

On the mypay page you can always opt to have his pin mailed to you, I know that will take a bit but without him there to fax a copy of hisID since he is deployed (unless he can do that from where he is at) there is really not a way for you to get a copy of the pin. Thats why that pin is very important. If you have a POA you can always go to PSD and see if they can look up his pay to see if anything is wrong with it for you since he is deployed. The 2 pays should be pretty equal thats how they get split up so I would check it out for my own piece of mind.

That is most likely because the first check that you saw the extra benefits in was a "catch up" check that included not only the benefits for the actual pay period it was for but for the time prior to that pay period when he should have been receiving those extra benefits - the first check usually includes some back pay of the benefits. After that initial pay your checks level off.
