Army pay is based on rank but he won't be taxed as much after you guys are married if he claims you as a dependent. My husband is also in Korea and will be there just as long. What base is your man stationed?

What is his rank? You can just look at a BAH allowance chart without dependents now, and thats what he currently gets, or you can look at a BAHh pay chart WITH dependents and that's what he would get.

If you can give us his rank (i.e. E4, E5, or whatever) we can help give you specific numbers. The basic pays are:
BAH (housing) which will come with dependents once you are married. If he's living in barracks right now, he won't be getting BAH at all.

BAS (food) is the same whatever rank he is: $279.88 for Enlisted, $192.74 for Officers.

Since he is a geo-bachelor, I guess you should be getting BAH once you're married as well as whatever housing he has over there. You can look it up using the zip code here:http://perdiem.hqda.pentagon.mil/perdiem/bah.html. If he's attached to a base in the US then use that zip code, if not, I'm not sure what zip you should use.

You should also be eligable for Family Separation which is $250 a month (flat-rate)

The Basic Pay tables are available here: http://www.dfas.mil/militarypay/2006...ayCharts-1.pdf

I think that's all of the main ones. Hope that helps!

How many years has he been in? For E-4 I'm guessing probably three years, which means he will be getting $1883.10 for basic pay per month. Four years is $1978.50.

As of Jan 1st it will go up though.
