    Question Tricare question!

    Advertisements
Is there a site where I can get a list of providers that accept Tricare? When Mike and I get married, I won't be living near a military clinic, I don't think.

Thank you for my siggy Stacey!

I went there but struggled with navigating it. I didn't know if there was an easier site out there to navigate. I will try a little harder searching that one this time! Thank you!!

Well it depends on if you have Tricare Prime or Remote.

ETA: Here is where you can find a provider if you are Prime (and no MTF is nearby). http://www.tricare.mil/mybenefit/Pro...ates&x=30&y=11
Select your zip code, and then click on Find a Provider and it will let you go from there.

Otherwise, they might put you on Tricare Remote. I was on that when I lived outside of Vancouver, WA and I just went to local docs there.

I don't even know what I'll have. What is normal to have? He's active duty. I do have prior back problems and will absolutely need an orthopaedic. I know he'll want to have the best health insurance for us.

Apparently there are about 15 LICSW's right next to where I live that take Tricare. That's fabulous..but I really wish it was a PCP or an orthopaedic!!
