    It could have to do with the base and how many people they have scheduled. I know my XH did not have a line number when he went also.

    The shirt probably needed him to prove it since he was asking to go and there was a possibility someone needed the slot before him.

    I'm so not telling DH that. He was supposed to sew on 2 months ago. His supervisor kept telling him he had to wait for his line number to go, but then they never scheduled it for him. He had to go to his 1st shirt himself to schedule it. He already found out about the waiver that you could have gotten to sew on before ALS once he got there and saw his classmates with it already on, and he was pissed about that. His shop really sucks with stuff like that.

    His supervisor is incompetent... and a disgrace.
    That is a rarity.. he just had a shitty supervisor... sorry.

    Believe me, DH is well aware of this. Even more so after being in ALS and learning about everything he's missed out on by having such a horrible supervisor. But it finally gave DH the motivation to start cross-training paperwork the Monday after he graduates.
