FRG question
Ok, when DH first got here he was assigned to one unit and then 3 weeks later they moved him to an entirely different unit. I was put on the FRG email list from the first unit and in the beginning I offered to help in any way I could. They needed POC (point of contact) people so I offered. I still have not met any of these ladies...but now they just sent out a new Chain of Concern diagram...and I am listed as one of their main contact people as a POC. They never officially told me they were making me one, just that we could talk more about it later. And we never talked more about it lol. I would have no problem with this and be happy to help if DH was even a member of the same battalion but he isn't, let alone the same company. I don't think I should be involved with an FRG for a unit my DH isn't even in anymore.
Is it acceptable to just email the leader and tell her what happened?? I don't want to be rude. I feel horrible, but I didn't know that they were going to end up reassigning DH 3 weeks after he got here...nobody did. And now I feel as though I have screwed up everything for them. I feel horrible about this. What is the right way to go about stepping down? |

I don't see why not. You're not being rude, they gave you no notice that you were, in fact, in the CoC, so you can always pull the immature car if they offended by it and say "they started it"
