Cell Phones for Soldiers hopes to turn old cell phones into more than 12 million minutes of prepaid calling cards for U.S. troops stationed overseas in 2007. To do so, Cell Phones for Soldiers expects to collect 15,000 cell phones each month through a network of more than 3,000 collection sites across the country. The phones are sent to ReCellular, which pays Cell Phones for Soldiers for each donated phone – enough to provide an hour of talk time to soldiers abroad.

Print the FREE postage paid shipping label below!

Shipping Instructions:

• Help the troops even more by paying the postage.
• Put the cell phone(s) in the smallest, lightest package possible.
• Affix the postage-paid shipping label to the envelope, bag or box.
• Drop the package in the mail.

We did this at my old school. It isn't just cell phones it is all the accessories too! (chargers, hands free sets...stuff like that). Its a really great program.

i've used a similar cell phone & ink jet cartridge recycling program to raise money for the non profit i used to work for. we got over $200 from the first box of cell phones & ink jet cartridges we shipped in to them. good idea to turn the $ into phone cards. i need to save my old phone when i'm done w/ it tho...in case anyone in my fam kills theirs before their contract is up.
