I agree. I grew out of my pure anarchist stage and now I believe in a blend between capitalism & socialism with an emphasis on strong local communities that. an take care of themselves to lessen the burden on social programs. I think we should always look after vulnerable populations, though, like children and the elderly. I think unrestricted capitalism in this society leads to rampant exploitation and abuse.

yeah, I was curious. I was an anarchist for awhile and the quote aligns well with Bakunins quote "the freedom of one shall not infringe on the freedom of another."

    are you an anarchist, perchance?
  6. I think that depends on how willin gyou are to jump into things. If you get here and get involved with on-base organizations, spouses groups, and/or the many opportunties to volunteer, you will meet people and make friends. Nearly everyone else here is in the same situation so they are all looking to make friends as well, and people understand how hard it is to come to this new place so my experience has been that they are very welcoming and helpful. Keep in mind that he'll have to have at least 12 months left on his orders for you to get sponsorship.

Yeah we were planning on just doing a court wedding before and then we would see how to get there. I was just wondering if its difficult to adjust, I mean to be there without family and friends to support you while he is gone?

Hi I was wondering how is it living in Japan i mean. My boyfriend/fiance and I are thinking of having me move out there in the next year or so, but idk what it what it will be like or have any clue on what needs to be done. All I know is we are waiting for him to get sponsored and for his deployment to be over to see how to figure things out. Any advice would be helpful, thank you.

Aw, thank you. I feel really bad though, because it isn't me. I don't want a real picture linked to my profile and that picture has been going around tumblr/pinterest and I it. I should probably put a little disclaimer. I do love the pose though. I'm keeping it in mind for future engagement pictures.
