  1. Seriously, thank you. I'm a military brat, so to some extent I knew what I was getting myself into, and a lot of my friends are in ROTC, but I'm working through the separation not the way I expected. It will be good preparation for future deployments, though. It's good to meet people who have BTDT. Makes the whole thing easier.
  2. Aw that is awesome! So glad you heard from him. For a lot of guys ldac is the first taste of "real army" cause everything up to that point has been all ROTC with the same guys and cadre. It'll be an adjustment for you I'm sure but just keep busy and the month will fly by before you know it. It's also a good way for you to slowly get used to how things are going to be once he is active and on TRADOC and for deployments and stuff. Let me know if you need anything at all! The commissioned route is a lot different from the enlisted route so sometimes what other people have experienced won't necessarily be the same for you guys. Keep your chin up and keep writing letters
  3. Thanks for looking up the LDAC address for me. DB texted me his company, platoon, and squad just now so I'm sticking a letter in the mail first thing tomorrow!
