I'm so sorry to hear that Crystal! I know how bad you wish you could go home to be there. You know that the marine Relief society thing on base, will give you money to go home for an emergency like this. Maybe you should look into it. I'm definitely praying for your grandma! and

oh Crystal, I'm sorry to hear about your grandma. This has got to be one of the worst possible time to have to go through something like this without your husband for support. I know what you mean about everything that could go wrong, is going wrong, seems to happen a lot especially when the guys are gone. Is there anyway, you could fly home for a little while?

Well, i'm doing alright, except i have a darn cold and my sinuses hurt and my dog growled at me for the first time in her life and i just couldn't believe it. But nothing too bad, again, i'm sorry to hear about your grandma....if you don't mind me asking....what's wrong with her?

I stay up too late for my brain to recall everything the next day LOL. did you ever get it by any chance? sorry about that. overall, i think that day went well (to answer your question) today was a different story. Way too much packed in just one day. How's your week going so far? we hit to two week mark :-)

If only they would build a restaurant out here, even Hanford would be great. The drive is long out on that one lane road. Have you noticed anything different in your kids since your DH left? Liam was fine until recently when he started to whine when he doesn't get his way right away AND he like 'bits' people? which is so strange...he used to do it as an infant when teething but that stopped ages ago......or maybe this is all because he's 2 years old

Hey thanks for finding me on myspace. How was your day today? i washed my car and had an ultrasound ! no i'm not preggo! but i had to get a check up and it was all the way in visalia! other than that. It's been a good day! I sent out my box for Frank and i'm having some relaxing time to myself right now. Although Sometimes, it gets too quiet around here lol

yeah it's a huge relief. I think the fact that most of VFA-115 families don't have a choice in the matter and have to leave for Japan is a scary thought. To not be able to choose. We got real lucky. But then again, he's been with them for 5 years this year, so it's time for a change! lol well it looks like we might be staying here for shore. We had orders to stay but with the financial cut backs all orders are put on hold until October. So we will have to c then.

Wow, that's cool that you are the Ombudsman for 113. That must be fun. The meeting tonight was good. I felt a bit out of place cause it was my first time and most of the people there are planning their trip to Japan, but it was fun. We got good info. I met some new people and some old ones i knew before.
tomorrow i'm sending out Frank (my hubby) his first care package for this cruise. I'm excited. Are you excited that they are finally opening the housing gate again? i can't wait.

oh wow FALLON!! my husband hates it over there! we saw orders to go there and the navy would pay us extra to move there and we were both like 'no thank you'. i really have come to like living here. it's not that bad and so far the bad heat hasn't kicked in yet. I have an frg meeting to go to tonight. i've never been to one before and this will be my 1st and last with this commad because dh is leaving vfa-115 to go to shore duty after this deployment but i was told it was important that i go...so i'm going :-) if anything it gets me out of the house to do something.
