car repairs are the death of me. i swear i am the like the bermuda triangle of cars. i am a fabulous driver. no accidents, nothing like that. but cars constantly break on me. like hard core break. and Tim is the same way. We just dished out $1300 for his car repairs since we are driving out of state this Thursday we needed a reliable car to do so. it sucks. i get you there.

you're allowed to pout. it sucks. i know the whole "distance only makes the heart grow fonder" is so cliche and lame and whatnot, but it's also true. Tim and i grew so much closer during his deployment when we were apart because we had to rely so much more on our ability to communicate with each other.

i'm so sorry though Holly. I wish there was something i could say or do to make it better. i really do

I love the snarky bitches on this board.
They biting, scratching, hissing, clawing spend
their time, and oft become an angry hoard.
Without them I would have more time to lend
to self-improving hobbies, but I choose
satirical endeavors in their stead.
We mock, we scorn, we shamelessly abuse
vice-presidential hopefuls. We are led
to beat sense into women who display
an attitude of false entitlement.
We tease what they can't spell,

Crowning Sacrifice

He tirelessly fights for ones loved, left behind.

He pushes through pain and fatigue.

A willingly sacrificed gift of his time

he has given in our time of need.

We say it's for freedom from terror or fear,

for victory over a foe.

We say it's for valor- to keep conscience clear.

A debt to a country we owe.

But in that one moment when he really knows

that his mortal

Liberal limericks

There once was a soldier named Joe.
And one day they told him to go
to a land full of sand
(Bush had it all planned
to help our poor oil supply flow.)

There was an old guy named Osama.
He needed a slap from his momma.
he got away free,
Since Bush can't tell elk from a llama.

And then there's this guy called McCain
Who tells us this fight's not in vain.
He'd like us to be

Poor Me a la Seuss

Now Marines who're Marines have completed their Boot
And the ones who have not are no more than recruits.
And every so often the second will say
"I'm fighting for you! Oorah and Ooray!!"

And then we all wonder while scratching our heads
How dang'rous it is to roll shirts and make beds.
After all, they're in training, or so we've been told,
So we know they're not fighting- perhaps we're too old

To quite understand all
