    I actually joined this site to see if I could meet some people I like Alaska so far... I mean, I don't feel like I want to stay here forever but I'm not counting down until we leave either. What do you do? I'm a SAHM, but I'm going to school full time for my BA in Education. For fun, I don't really go out and do a whole lot, but I love cooking. I'm definitely a food person! How old are your kids?

    Heyas, sorry for the slow response. I was busy planning my mom's 70th birthday party, which was yesterday. We had a lot of fun. Nope, don't live on post, but DB is at Rich. He let it slip that he bought me a ring tho, so I'm expecting a Christmas proposal, maybe? I'm super excited, but whenever it happens, it happens. He's an amazing person. How long have you been up here?

    And I agree - it's crazy trying to find someone here ! I have my friends, but only one is a military wife & she's in Jacksonville, freshly married. How is Alaska ? I've always wondered what it's like there !

    i've lived in nc most of my life so it's not the fact of not knowing anyone,
    just not knowing anyone from seymour johnson. i know some of my husbands friends, but they are with him haha.

    omg im sorry sorry i havent written to you. oh dear i have been busy with getting ready for dh to come home from deployment and poor dd got sick on tuesday with a fever and just finally got it down under 99.5 today. its been crazy again im sooooo sorry for not writing the past few days.
