    i'm not entirely a sewing newbie. i did a project in 4-H as a kid & played around on my grandma's old machine, so i'm a lil wet behind the ears. are you familiar with fold over elastic (FOE)? that's what the skirt pattern i found online uses for a waistband. i think you can only buy it online.

    i kinda wanna attempt making it for myself. did i tell you i bought a singer 7442 from harrisonsdream? picked it up saturday. it's like brand freaking new & i'm in love. i've found some free patterns online i wanna try out, including the one seam dress. found a simple bias A line skirt that supposedly takes 5 mins....i need to go to the fabric store for some kitschy fabric.

Ok so I figure if I post my todo list here that one of you at least if not more might keep me accountable to get half of it done! I really really have slacked off since getting internet last week and feel like I wasted so much time and go nothing done...becuase... well i didn't.
