How I Met My Military Significant Other:

My friend and her boyfriend thought I would be a great match with one of her friends, so she told him it was a blind date and didn't tell me anything. They brought a second friend along as well. The guy I was supposed to be set up with was not talkative and it made me feel really uncomfortable, so I started talking to his friend. We really hit it off and started talking to each other for hours on end. A couple of weeks later he invited me to be his date at the USMC ball, and within a few hours were in a relationship. It happened crazy fast, but it's worked. :)

I haven't even thought about that because he is deploying soon and after that he might change services, so we'll see what my options even are at that point, haha.

Music:

I will pretty much listen to anything depending on my mood, I am not that picky. I like to have a lot to choose from. Right now I am on an oldies kick.

Television:

Heroes, The Office, Family Guy, South Park, A Haunting, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Ghost Hunters... I watch a lot of news programs and a lot of those judge shows because that is mostly what I get when I am at school.

Movies:

Letters from Iwo Jima, Vantage Point, Crash, 3:10 to Yuma, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Princess Bride, American History X, the list goes on and on really. I have a soft spot for Chuck Norris films. I love watching documentaries.

Reading:

I love fantasies and classics. Anything by J. R. R. Tolkien, anything by Jane Austen. Wuthering Heights. Bernard Cornwell's King Arthur trilogy. I loooove books. My dream house would have a library in it, haha. Too bad I am poor.
