I met my husband through my sister. Her ex-husband is in the Airforce, and would see my future husband at functions, and always thought he was really great. She kept telling him about me, but he was in NC, I was in AZ, and we never had the chance to meet. When he came to town for TDY, he was here for three weeks, and took my sister's phone and called me. I had no idea who this guy was because I had never heard any stories about him. My sister made plans for us to meet over dinner and go out to drinks with a group of people, and we finally met....it was all over from there. We fell for each other and spent the entire last week he was here together. I asked how he had known about me, and he said that my sister had let the cat out of the bag, and that he would have called me before, but he had a problem, "catching me between boyfriends"!!!! I couldn't believe it! That is REALLY not true!
About Me:
I am new to the military (Airforce), and I really want to be immersed in the group. I know it's a different world, and it's hard, because my sister was an Airforce wife, and I can't always talk to her, or get a real perspective on things. I would like to talk to everyone, and I think that I will feel better about my place in my guy's life if I have a little perspective. All I can do is keep asking questions.
It's a frustrating life, but I am excited to learn more.
I was born in El Paso, TX. I have two kitties, Baileigh and Skiddie, and they are my buddies. I also have a baby girl on the way in September, and since she's kicking so much, she is going to play soccer like her daddy, I just know it!
About Us:
We get along really well, and I love the fact that we can laugh together. It's hard to talk on the phone, because of the time difference, but are able to keep in touch through letters, cards, and email. I am really happy when we get to speak on the phone. I am really excited to spend my life with him. I think we are great together, and can't wait for the future.
