How I Met My Military Significant Other:
We met online! He was doing his flight training in Mississippi, and I was in pharmacy school in Nashville. He and his buddies traveled to Nashville a lot to blow off steam down Broadway, and he messaged me on a dating app when he was in the area. I didn't respond until almost exactly a year later because I didn't see the year and thought the message was recent... oops.

We started messaging each other through the app, which transgressed to text messages, and then phone calls. When he went on his first deployment, he told me he basically assumed we were dating and I was in the middle of class when he sent me that Skype message and nearly laughed out loud. But I let him have it ;-)

We started to video chat via Skype and then planned our first date to be at Disneyworld! I finally met him in person 4 months after we started dating. He literally just got back from his first deployment and I was waiting in a hotel room for him to come to me. It was one of the most incredible moments of my life, that first hug from him. (Even better than us having our first date at Disneyworld!)

We've been together ever since, two years now.

(Should have been three, as he looooves to remind me on my lack of ability to answer messages in a timely manner...)
About Me:
Dallas native, Nashville transplant slaving away to memorize drugs and their side effects. I have a bachelor of arts in psychology and English, but that has really nothing to do with anything - I just like to tell people that so it'll feel like I didn't waste 4 years and 120k on it. I spend my free time sleeping, trying to schedule sleep in between classes, work, and studying, and eating.

I'm a third year pharmacy student with an underachieving ambition to graduate pharmacy school and become your friendly neighborhood pharmacist. Catch me behind the counter, but please don't yell at me.

And that's pretty all my life entails right now: learning how to pronounce drugs & military acronyms.
About Us:
He's my best friend. People think we don't like each other because 95% of our conversations are us ragging on each other and making fun of each other but laughter and our matching senses of humor are what makes us work. He's got my six, and I've got his - always.
Interests & Hobbies:
Sleeping, eating, writing Yelp reviews, make up, shopping, and annoying my boyfriend
Dream Sheet:
I want to be a VA pharmacist one day, and he doesn't plan to go career so... hopefully one day the military will just be a distant relative instead of immediate family.
Television:
NCIS, Law & Order SVU, Grey's Anatomy, Riverdale, Parks & Rec, Arretsed Development, This Is Us, Narcos, Say Yes to the Dress, Brooklyn 99
Occupation:
Pharmacy intern
