I'm still trying to the hang of this site. lol. Trying to get a grasp on my situation is kind of hard.
This website can be confusing! But i agree it's much easier to talk about this stuff with someone who understands. If you want you can add me on facebook too, my name is Nicole Piccini.
Hey! I thought I would message you since we're both in similar situations and it would be nice to have someone who knows exactly what I'm going through
I did some volunteering, that helped the most. I volunteered at the animal shelter to play with cats and dogs and clean out their pens, but in the past I have volunteered at a horse rescue training and grooming horses, a nursing home just talking and doing crafts with the residents and an elementary school doing a buddy reading program. I also spent a lot of my time on my hobbies which kept me busy and relieved stress.
He is a Hospital Corpsman, really loves it. Is it starting to get easier on you?
Hi! Thanks for your reply to my post. I'm trying to get used to this site. I'm actually located in IL so Great Lakes is only 50 min from where I live. I'm happy I'll see him the day he graduates. His cousin/Navy recruiter said he'll need to be back on base at 10 pm after graduation tho. Mine is going to A school in Maryland. I hope to visit him a few times while he's there. He is going to school to be a Mass Communication Specialist. What did your fiancé go to A school for?
I just replied to tour poat, but I thought I'd message you here as well. My fiance graduated from Great Lakes a few months ago and he will be home from A school in a fee hours! Do you know what MOS your boyfriend is going for? A lot of them go to Pensacola for A school and DF and I will be moving there in about a week.
