How I Met My Military Significant Other:

We were introduced by a mutual friend. My boyfriend is into Japanese sword/fighting styles and my friends and I were doing a Japanese cosplay for Comic-Con. My friend, Diana, knowing his background and that we were both single, she asked him to come over and teach all of us a few basic moves. After that, him and I started hanging out more with just the two of us, and about a month after we met, we had our first date. The rest, as they say, is history. It's now been about 3 1/2 years and we're still going strong.
