I am doing okay too. Things with Anthony went downhill the last two weeks. He got violent and kicked a trash can that hit me. I freaked out and refused to let him near me. I guess he finally realized that what he was doing was NOT okay and finally took the step and we went to our first counseling session today. I feel so much better after getting everything OUT. And I mean EVERYTHING. He actually agreed and wants to work on it...I'm so happy I feel like crying. I'm going to send lots of 'ers and your way in hopes that you two are headed in the right direction this time.

OK first thing first...with all the preggo wives. Are they having them for the first time in Germany. Try to gather information and make a small packet about what to do with handling birthcertificates(the german and the american), american passports, getting commandsponsored, etc...Sometimes they know some information and sometimes they don't. If they give birth, show support by going there and congratulating them. It shows they are special one way or another..kwim..
As for phone calls. I have the same problem too...I get nervous when calling people. I am a face to face person, not a phone call. Before you call, practice on the mirror or outloud..might sound silly but it helps when you finally make the call. Or you can always make notes before the call and then you can know what to say...

  10. We have Anthony's pizza instead - poor substitute. I have actually learned the art of making pizza at home (and I'm getting good, too) just because I love pizza so much and I'm not fond of German pizza.

How I Met My Military Significant Other:
It was a beautiful day in Munich, Germany. My sister and I just arrived in Munich, so we decided to wonder around and see the city. We went to several sites including the many churches, the English Garden, and the Haufbrahaus. As we walked to the Haufbrahaus, we got lost. Instead of using a map to find it we followed the signs on the streets. As we followed them we notices that the signs were going around a circle. The second time around we followed them again hoping this time we would see something different. We did. We found a mom and her two sons on the corner who spoke english. As I kept walking, my sister stopped and talked with the mom. To find out that were Americans(The first Americans we found the whole trip). Then I turn around and saw my sister talking so I stopped and found out they were looking for the same place. So I anounced, I will ask someone. Then we all walking into the parking structure and I asked the guy who worked there. He gave me direction so we all started walking there. On out way we had small talk. We found out that they were all from Michigan and that the oldest son was in the Army stationed here in Germany, and the youngest son and the mom were here to visit. When we finally found the Haufbrahaus we walked in and it was overwhelming. It was so packed with people. We all ended up going in and finding a table together. It was nice to sit down with Americans and talk about everything we have seen. Hanging out with Mary Jo, Mike, and Brian felt like family. We clicked instantly, and we shared a lot of the same views. My sister and I were away from home and had been gone for almost three weeks. Mary Jo reminded us of our mom so much it was very comforting. After drinking a liter of beer we were all a little bit friendlier and we walked around Munich till the sun started going down. Mike was the only one who did not drink so he was able to drive my sister and I back to our Hostel. We agreed to meet the next day because my sister and I were g
