It's downtown Pcola right in the middle of Palafox Street 8am to 2pm every Saturday until December. I always take the kids and we get fresh fruit and eat it outside.

It's hard to do with little ones, but if you get the chance to really explore downtown Pcola there are tons of fun things to do. Annnd I love the Palafox Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings!

I like the area up there by Navarre and Milton much better than down here.

We live on Corry Station in Base Housing, but we're not really happy with it at all and the house is just too small for our family so we're going to be moving out in town in October when our lease here is up. Milton is so far. Is your SO stationed at Whiting Field or Pensacola?

I've been here since October 2010. What part of Pcola are you in?

Yeah, I moved up here for school. How's the weather in Salina?

cool, I think my hubby has been talking to your hubby!

Ask away...Life on Active Duty is pretty great...I'm not sure how life is without it!

I'm from Rockford IL, it's up north sort of near Chicago...makes me a Cubs fan and a Bear fan! Very cool you played softball, too bad about the injury. I always wanted to join an adult softball league (i used to play back when I was like 10 and under) but have been a little scared (because it's been so long!).

I'll have to look into what books Janet Evanovich writes...I'm looking for a good book to read in this down time! I'm a sucker for Nicholas Sparks books :-). That's a great idea to read about future trips...are you on and Florida books yet? Haha

I was talking to my husband about you two. He wanted me to ask if your husband was on airwarriors.com or usnavyocs.com? If so what is his screen name?

I have to tell you I am so excited to be talking to you.

That's great that your husband has his license already. He should be able to bypass some of the training.

That sounds like a great plan for you and your baby girl. I give you and all the ladies out there with little ones major credit. I bet getting as much help/support from family is a relief.

Where else have you all been stationed at or have you stayed in KC the whole time?

Oddly enough I bought my car from a guy from KC, he was super nice and we were talking about how we midwest people are good people...i was born in IL and lived there until I was 11 so I'm a midwest girl @heart, it's in my blood! :-)

Are you into sports @ all? If so , what are your teams? What else do you like to do? I read that you like to read..what authors do you like?

How I Met My Military Significant Other:
We met online while he was deployed on his first tour in 2005. After exchanging emails and phone calls for 5 months he finally came home for leave. We went on our first date and the rest is history. After a year of dating I moved to central Kansas to live with him while he finished school. 4 years and another deployment later he will be graduating in December.
About Me:
I am currently working as a histology technician and I kind of fell into the job. I majored in biology in college, but was unable to find a job out of college. I love to be outside even if it is just sitting on the porch reading a book. I love to travel. My goal is to see as much of the world as possible. You only get one shot on this planet and I want to make the most of it. I love to cook, I just never get the opportunity. I am one of those people who will look through cookbooks planning dinner parties that I will never have. Speaking of food, Alton Brown is my hero for combining food and science and making it cool. I have a beautiful daughter and 2 cute dogs. Some days my house feels like a zoo, but I love it.
About Us:
We met online while he was in Iraq so we had to wait 5 months to meet while he was on R&R. Then we had another 2 months before he came home. We've been together ever since. We were married in 2009, and now have an adorable daughter.
