Dealing with deployment or anything like this, does help you to be more independent. It has for me. It's a good thing tho and it's okay to have break downs and cry. I do sometimes. I just stay busy with friends and go on runs or hikes. Th weather has been nice here so that also helps lol. You will get a routine and time will start to fly

dang maybe i will end up doing an indoor wedding. i have really bad luck with weather so i wouldnt want it to start raining during it lol

sometime we go a week with no talking, or a few weeks or sometimes just a few days. its different every mission the waiting game to hear from them sucks.

i am very good DF and i have been able to talk a lot since their mission ended. but of course hes about ready to do another one so that sucks. but today is the 3 months mark since he deployed!
only four more months
im trying to figure out what all i have to do when DF and i get married at the court house in 4 months. and how to get all singed up for military crap lol its stressful

im sorry i have been MIA, my comp is broke and idk how much it will be to fix it sadly.

I've been saving for this trip for MONTHS sweden must have been amazing! I'm so excited for my trip, I've never been across to visit him before, he's always come here, so I get to meet all this family and friends

Yeah, we see each other as much as we can it's expensive though of course. I'm going to visit him for three weeks in the summer

That's good that your DF get those 2 weeks. Is this your first deployment? Or have you been through others?

Yes we are! He's in Pa, in the States, and I'm in Scotland in the UK. We had 'plans' that he would move here this summer, but it fell though but we are working on next year now DB isn't military you see. How about you? Are you living with your SO?

I hope they let him come home for Christmas! Aw You guys can have your own little Christmas celebration when he gets back! You are one lucky girl, I'd kill if DB could cook that Alice Springs Chicken they have.
