How I Met My Military Significant Other:

We met when we were seniors in high school, at a small-town "redneck" hangout on October 19, 2007. I begged my friend not to pull into the hangout, but she did anyway...this good-looking guy walked right up to me and put his Carhart around me :-D
The next night he invited my girlfriends and I to a "field party" and ended up babysitting me as I got too drunk to function. We've been together since.

About Me:

I grew up in the suburbs until I was 12, when my parents moved us to a private lake community in the country. I have a twin sister and a younger sister. I am close with my family, and currently living with them in Indiana, as my husband is deployed and I am having a baby in October.

About Us:

My husband and I were married on Sept. 6, 2008, on boot leave. We had dated only 11 months before then, but we were so incredibly close, even at the young ages of 17-18. In 2009, we lost our first baby, there was no heartbeat at an ultrasound...But now we are expecting our first full-term, due on Oct. 11th. We are hoping for a boy.
