    Oh yea, definitely start on a 600. I've had my CBR600RR for 3 years and the only reason I got the R1 is because I LOVE the crossplane engine, if there was a cross plane 600cc I would have bought that. Hell, the last ride we went on I took the Honda out just to play, and it's still a blast!
