How I Met My Military Significant Other:

DB and I went to the same college. We both worked in the media department and I was almost immediately taken by the way he sacrificed and served other people even when he wasn't getting anything out of it. He was quiet, but said the smartest, funniest things at the funniest times.
We became friends, building a large circle of mutual friends as each semester passed and it stayed that way for a couple years. I was secretly hoping he'd open his eyes and realize I was the girl he was supposed to be with forever, and he obliviously determined to finish his degree, get commissioned and move on to training.
The obliviousness lasted longer than I thought possible (It's not like I was being very subtle) and we finally started dating a year ago.

About Me:

I'm originally from New Zealand but don't have any accent.
I like sugar waaaaaay too much and don't love Jesus as much as I should.
I currently shoot weddings to put myself through school, and am hoping to expand/better my photography business when I graduate and have the time to do so.
I love people and my fish Geronomo. (cleanest pet I've ever owned)
I iron my sheets because I think that makes them feel amazing and I hate clutter.
I'm a hoarder and a purger.
Blue Slushees are my favorite.
I could eat at Chick-fil-a every day for the rest of my life and not get sick of it.
I like movies that make me think and T.V. shows that make me laugh.
