I got my DB's address from his recruiter and I felt sooo silly sending like 10 letters at once because I'm sure he'll get them all at the same time and have no idea what to do with them. April 8th? That's awesome! Mine is May 6...seems like an eternity!

Well I'm definitely here if you ever need someone to talk/vent/whatever to. How long will your man be gone? My DB's training is 13 weeks. Day 1 was okay, day 2 was pretty rough, and I'm staying positive for day 3! I just haven't gotten a whole lot of shut-eye because I'm so worried about what he's doing/feeling/thinking. Writing letters has helped though, as well as exercising!

DB is Army! He left a few weeks ago, but hasnt stated basic yet because they are too overbooked

I was just responding to your post on the Bootcamp Forum and noticed that you're in Tulsa. I'm in Norman! Aaand both of us had our DB's leave today. Agh. Long day.

Oh well then you are for sure cut out to be a military wife haha.... But yeah I know what you mean I get bored quick. I absolutely love to travel so I made the right decision to marry the military LOL.... And yes BRRR... it's so cold right now and snowing too I hate it cause you can't really go out and do stuff. You should totally be reminding your DB every chance you get about him being outside in the cold early in the morning and you in your warm comfy bed LMAO.... Every now and then I go on base and the guys/gals are all wearing their winter gear face masks and all, they look so funny

I love the ocean it's BEAUTIFUL and miss living by it Illinois is sooo lame. In a way I'm excited about DH going back to a boat in a couple of years but of course not looking forward to the long deployments. The military life is definitely exciting though

Well that's cool... My husband is a TM(Torpedoman's Mate) the torpedo room is pretty much his office when he's on sea duty hehe... I personally LOVE the fact he's in the Navy because no matter where we go we are always going to be stationed next to the water, unless he choses to be a recruiter but he would never consider that job

Yeah I bet but if you can survive the separation while he's in basic training, you are ready to deal with everything else that comes with the Navy as a Navy wife, of course when you're both ready It's definitely not easy but most of us tend to make the best of it because that's all we can do. While he's up here you should write him a lot of letters and don't get mad if he says he's gonna call you and he doesn't, he most likely won't even have enough time. But when you do get to talk to him let him know how much you love/miss him and all that cute stuff because girl he will need to hear that When he's reminded he has someone back home that supports him that will be the fuel he will need to keep him going. Wether it's in basic training or when he gets assigned to a boat/ship. Does he know what he wants to be in the Navy? It's perfectly normal to be nervous because he has no idea what to expect and there will be tough times but as long as he does what he's told to do he will be fine. Will you be coming up here for his graduation?
