How I Met My Military Significant Other:
I met my husband online. He is embarrassed about meeting online....However, facts are facts! And I could not be more grateful for the online dating network! Our paths would never have crossed without it!
About Me:
I feel silly writing about me....Its hard for me to even talk about myself....Let alone write a paragraph or two.....But I'll do my best!
I am from Highlands Ranch, Colorado. After high school I went to Dixie State College in St. George and played tennis there until I received my two year degree. After Dixie, I had a brief stint in Provo, Utah and then moved to my beloved Boston! To this day, there is still a special place in my heart for Boston. I had some of the best memories of my single adult life there. I left Boston after two years and moved back home to finish my senior thesis and take an internship. After graduation, I had plans to move back to the east coast and take a job in NYC.....However, God had something different in mind!
While in Denver, I was probably in one of the worst dating situations. I think there was a total of four single guys in the area. Well, I was not getting any younger....So I decided to get an account to LDSsingles.com. This was a joke. I had guys age 50+ flirting with me.
That being said, it got to the point where I would just delete an LDSsingles.com email before I even looked at it. However, one day I just randomly opened one of the emails I had from LDSsingles.com, in hopes to get a good laugh at who was attracted to me.....And I noticed the email was from a dashing Naval Officer. We wrote back and forth a few times and then spoke on the phone every night until Kory left for Iraq. He came to visit me in Colorado during the holidays and I visited him in El Paso. During that time, we fell in love and he proposed just a few days before he left for war. We were married a few months after he got home and I could not imagine my life without Kory! He is my everything.
As for everything else, I currently am a stay at home mom raising two beautiful children....Well, I should say three children if we include our dog Fenway. I also have own a small LDS wedding buisness specializing in cultural hall receptions. Its a nice way of "hav
