Marcia! I haven't talked to you in ages! Hope you are doing well
Close enough!
Hi! You have an awesome name! Is it pronounced Mar-SHA too?! My mans name is Chris Nice to meet you!
on getting married!
lol oh okay I thought there were was some strange loophole where he didnt have to be there...lol Yeah I've heard that comment about the food too from a certain place he went lol that's funny...ooh seconds is always a good thing!
Yeah he has things he liked about ships and things he didn't like so much lol but he prefers to not be on one hence the cross rating. But he does say that on land deploys you still have people in your space so he said it doesn't make a difference to him lol Well hopefully you guys can get one of those postin's! I had no idea you could get married without him physically being there...how does that work??
lol well hopefully you can marry him in the flesh and not in ...cardboard? hehehe He is American we met over here in California so yeah...I wish he could get stationed in Australia that would be awesome lol He deploys just like a regular deployment except he's not on a ship. He just returned from a deployment to the Middle East. I randomly met an Aussie guy once who sat next to me on a flight to Hawaii who was in the RAN who was stationed there in Hawaii so I do believe it's possible!
Aw girl dont tell me that! But rain is a good thing yeah? lol Still something about summer at home with the chrissy parties and new years etc. etc. White Christmases are fun, but no snow unfortunately here in Southern Cali! But when we go "home" it is definitely a winter wonderland Yeah DH used to be a "fleeter" but he cross rated and now does a job that is land based....lol (weird to think of Navy not being on a boat for the most part huh lol) Yeah, this next deployment he will miss wedding anniversary, b'day, baby's first bday, etc. etc. and he missed our baby's birth last year. I guess it just comes with the territory I hope he makes it to the wedding! Fingers crossed for you hun!
Me and my DH live in Southern Cali. He's in the USN. We are gearing up for another deployment. He's away at training right now, hoping he'll be back soon! I miss Australia and can't wait until I get to visit home early next year nothing beats summertime in Aus.
I know I have been on different mil s/o forums and have only come across one other aussie so it's pretty cool! So your s/o is stationed in Aus?
