About Me:
Hi Everyone,
My name is Mary. My husband,JRF, just left for his first deployment in Iraq about two weeks ago. He has been in the military for just about 2 years and a couple months now, he just made his specialist right before he left. We are stationed here at Fort Lewis Washington. He did his basic at Fort Sill. He is part of 1 377 FAR. I am 21 and he is 22 we have been married for 2 1/2 years been together for 6 or seven years and we have a 1 1/2 year old baby girl.
I'm doing pretty good considering this is my first ever deployment other than my farther's deployments on his navy ship but I was too far young to really remember any of it. It just hit me the other day that my husband, my best friend, my true love, and the farther of my daughter is really thousands of miles away. This is not just one of his field training where he is just a three hour drive away if something happens. He doesn't have the option to pick up his cell phone whenever he can and call me. I'm not sure if I am making any sense at all but this is the best way I can describe it.
I feel a little bad I still havn't cried since he has left and there were wives who were balling the morning we droped them off for their plane ride. I have tried to cry but I think in the back of my mind I'm not letting myself do it because I had promised him I would stay strong when he left and not let everything fall apart but I feel as though I need to cry so I can feel less pent up and I'm not sure how to do that.
Well the baby is done eating so I need to go talk to yall soon have a good one.

If you can't support our troops. Then Stand in front of them.

Mary
