    Well I managed to send out 1 of the 2 care packages. I somehow managed to fit around 10 books into a medium flat rate box, lease papers, floorplans of the apartment and a booklight. I've stopped on the repacking crap for awhile to work on my friend's baby quilt. I'm so excited! And I'm soooo close to the official "1 month over". My dad and I are going to go celebrate with delicious ice cream that totally doesn't fit into my caloric intake hahaha

    and for almost being done! and for flying to see him!! That's so exciting!!! I've been busy with my multitude of jobs and family. I haven't stopped prepping for moving and I'm doing all this running and paperwork for DB while he's overseas. I think he likes having a personal secretary sometimes I'm almost done with my first month of this deployment and I'm prepping 2 small care packages to send out Monday (books for my little reader, the lease to fill out BAH paperwork and a few snacks lol).

    speaking of kirk have you heard from him? i havent heard anything about him since he shippped off. alex joined the Air Force back in januaryish hes out in texas right now at AIT.
    cincinnati is seriously the smallest big town ever, everyone knows eachother somehow!

    oo cool 5 months down that is great! how many more to go? josh has been gone for almost 4 months... we're not positive if his deployment is 7 months or a year, but right now im still holding out for it to be 7 months!! if so then we only have about 3 to go

How I Met My Military Significant Other:
We met in 2002. He was a dishwasher, and I was a busser at the restaurant my dad owns. I still work there, although I've moved up to serving and bartending now lol.
About Me:
I'm 22 years old, and a proud mommy of a 2 year old. Taking care of him, and working, is basically all I do. And most of the time, I love it. I love my friends, they hold me together when I feel like I can't handle this. And I'm also a HUGE fan of the Twilight series.
About Us:
We met in 2002 and started dating almost immediately. It was amazing, he was my first boyfriend, and almost right away, I knew I was done searching. We stayed together for about 2 years.. then we decided to take a break. We remained best friends. He decided to join the Navy, and I supported him. I wrote him almost daily through bootcamp, and went to his graduation. While he was gone, I met someone else and ended up having Jackson. I can't say I regret it, because Jack is the best thing that's ever happened to me. Kirk and I didn't talk for almost three years. When we finally saw each other again, it was like no time had passed and we got back together within weeks.. and just a few weeks before this deployment. We plan on getting married within the next year or two, and we can't wait to start our lives together.
Interests & Hobbies:
I love music, and concerts. I love reading. It's so relaxing to me. I've read the Twilight series five times now, and it just doesn't get old.
