Hi! Don't know if anyone answered your question about BAH/OHA in the Army Wives thread but BAH is what you get CONUS. Basic Allowance for Housing. It's based on your zip code and your SO's rank w/ or w/o dependents. They pay you that lump sum. OHA is Overseas Housing Allowance. My DH is eligible to receive a max of 1100EU in OHA but the Army will actually only pay whatever his rent is. So if his rent is 700EU, they'll only foot that much of the bill. In the States, I get one lump sum for my BAH allowance. See the difference?

Hi Shirley! I'm Leslie. My boyfriend, soon to be fiance, will be heading to Kadena in about a month. As soon as he finishes his CDCs he is taking leave to come home and marry me! I will be headed to join him by this time next year! I am 19 and in my first year of college. I am working my ass off to get enoigh gredits to be a junior by next spring. They have a lot of options for college when you get there though, and if you take online classes through the airforce, it is FREE!
