  1. Thanks Aimee, your message is a comfort to me. I still send him messages with things that are going on about me too. And I try to stay as positive as I possibly can. I am getting alot of things done that we discussed. But its still very hard to go from hearing from him everyday to nothing over several months. My prayer is that he is safe and he will return to me soon.

I am sorry to hear about that. Maybe he is in a job where he can not contact you. I know I have only gotten 2 emails in the 12wks. my solider has been gone. It has been hell for me as well, so I know how it feels to waiting and wondering. I think the only reason I have heard something is because I have been writing once a week about news updates and what was going on with me back here. My SO's brother has only gotten 1 email and he is my man's emergency contact. Stay strong, keep urself busy and go on with ur normal daily routine is what I have found works the best. My first two months I sat here wondering if he was ok and now have decided to write him but go on and get the things done I need to while he is gone. Good luck and if u ever need to vent u can write me. Aimee

I saw ur post on the afghanistan deployment group. I understand what ur going through my man was just deployed to Afghanistan as well. I have not heard from my man in almost a month as well. We used to talk at least once a week, but I knew this was coming. If you ever need someone to vent to or just someone to talk to I am good listener.

I'm so happy my baby has emailed and called me again. I love him so much! I have found myself daydreaming of how it will be to have him here at home. With a big ole smile on my face. He confirmed that the 18 months will begin at the end of the month. I told him that I can deal with it and I will be waiting for him.

Yesterday, I went to the doctor for a follow up appt found out that I have lost a total of 30 pounds. My goal to go is 40 more pounds. Ive been using the Atkins

He CALLED! He CALLED! I nearly jump off the sofa. I would have if I hadnt had surgery on my right foot 3 weeks ago and still cant walk without crutches. It was so nice to hear his voice. I feel like a weight has been released from my mind. I am on a spiritual high right now.

The last I had heard from him was on the 20th of Feb. He had just completed training and was to be sent to Hawaii then later deployed to either Iraq or Afghanistan. The original plan was to be

I love my army soldier! He is wonderful and has fulfilled my every need in a man. However, we are facing deployment by the end of this week. He will be gone for 13 months. I am so not looking forward to it. Since now he calls me everyday and I can text him when I'm having a bad day. In my heart I know I want the best for him. But I have secretly been wishing that he wouldnt get deployed and go thru some more training. I know thats sick but thats how I feel. Am I being a bit selfish?
