How I Met My Military Significant Other:

I met Ryan completely by luck. It was a few weeks before I graduated from college and my girls and I decided to spend the night at one of our favorite local beach bars. My girls and I were all drinking having a good time and because I am a social butterfly, I wandered from them to play this game ( I call it the ring game) that was on the beach, a few feet from the bar. It just so happened Ryan was playing it with his friend Sean (also a coastie), Sean's brother and Sean's brothers Finace. Well I just went up to Ryan and started talking, asking him what his technique was for the ring game. One thing led to another and he stayed with us the whole night and came back to my place with a bunch of people we had over. He was new to the area and because he just got stationed, where I currently live, he decided it would be cool to make friends. And that was that. We were inseperable. We talked for hours on the phone and basically wanted to be with each other all the time. I knew right then and there I had found someone special! He got deployed about a month and a half after we met, which was difficult. But I survived it and kept in contact with him and grew more and more in love with him. I knew from that moment on that he was the guy for me! :)
