How I Met My Military Significant Other:

We grew up together, he was my cousin's best friend. We celebrated birthdays together as kids, he was always around at family gatherings. Everyone thought we should go ahead and make him officially part of the family. 10 years later, I think it worked out pretty well!

About Us:

We have a great partnership, and we get along really well most of the time! He is very patient and easygoing, helps with kids, housework, whatever needs doing, he will do. We don't have a "Hallmark" relationship, most cards or poems with romantic sayings I just find rather cheesy and fake. But he will surprise me with flowers, and the occasional funny card. He thanks me for marrying him, I thank him for taking such good care of us. And somehow, it works. Goodness, I love that man! Going to have to go kiss him now.

Dream Sheet:

We will be in San Diego for awhile, have a vague dream of doing recruiting duty somewhere in TX as his last tour before he retires. It would be nice to be closer to home before retirement. We'll see what happens, though. Planning too far ahead is dangerous...

Music:

I like all sorts of music, from classical to rock, it depends on my mood...

Television:

Private Practice, Dancing with the Stars, that's about all I watch

Movies:

I can't really decide on a favorite, I love parodies of all kinds. Movies are purely entertainment for me, I usually skip the Oscar nominated ones whose sole purpose is to make me think. If I want to think, I'll read a book!

Reading:

I do most of my reading online, news, and whatnot, but I do like John Gresham's books. Magazines-I like Better Homes and Gardens, just to look at all the awesome houses.
