Thank you so much for the Christmas tree/ornaments. You made me flippin cry. Today was a ****ty day, DH left again this morning - though only for a few weeks but it sucks.

On top of that, because of the timing we wound up having to get a stupid artificial tree this year after I SWORE I'd never ever EVER have a fake tree, and that I was so glad I had a son that would carry my tree into my house when I'm 80.



Now I have a real beautiful good smelling tree in my home, and cute ornaments to boot.

You're such a total sweetheart. I have to get DD at school but I promise to post pics later.



I didn't ever think I wanted an MSOS wifey, but now I want to marry you.

When we went to buy our stupid artificial tree (it will forever be the stupid artificial tree), I let DD pick it out - of course she wanted the rainbow lights and the metallic purple and blue ornaments. But whatever, they were shatterproof, right? Right!

But I've always ALWAYS been a real-tree-with-white-lights kind of girl. It's always been important for me to have a real tree. It's also been important that I have white lights. Last year was the first year I had colorful lights because Paige wanted them, and I wanted her to be in love with the tree too. This year, with the fake-and-colorfully-lighted tree, I had just resigned myself to the fact that the Christmas tree is no longer about me. I had accepted the fact that it's now officially about the kids, and I will not likely have a tree with white lights until the year 2023, give or take. It was ok though, because they're the KIDS, and that's how it's supposed to be, right?!? Right!!

Thank you Berk, for the REAL tree, with WHITE lights.
