Coke chicken - Main Dishes

It sounds weird, but it's yummy and easy to make.

You just need:
Chicken cutlets
12 oz diet coke
1 cup ketchup

Clean chicken

In a pot, put chicken, coke, and then ketchup in. Do not mix.

Set stove to high and bring the ingredients to boil. Once it is boiling turn the stove to medium and cook for 40 minutes. Then turn stove to high until sauce thickens.

That's it. It tastes like really tender barbeque chicken, but better.

I"m going to have to try this. It contains DH's favorite ingredient (coke). Sounds really good!

i thought it sounded gross the first time i heard of it but momma made it one time on a campout in the dutch oven... it was great!! havent had it lately and the last few times we had it it wasnt in the dutch oven... lol call me crazy but i like it better outta the dutch oven (:
