Easy, yummy pomodoro sauce recipe

Just made this today--really easy and really good!!!

1 can San Marzano Tomatoes (I cut each tomato into quarters)
1 medium onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
Pinch sugar
2 tbs olive oil
1 tbs Italian seasoning
1 tsp Garlic powder
3 pinches Salt
Few dashes Pepper

1. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan.
2. Add onion, garlic, salt, pepper, sugar, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder, cook about 5 minutes.
3. Add tomatoes with their juice.
4. Lower heat and simmer with lid on about 30 minutes. Taste as you go along and add salt, pepper or seasoning as needed.
5. Serve with pasta!
